Revealed in the February issue of Official Xbox Magazine by a forum member that Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics has confirm that there will multiplayer for the upcoming game this March. Developer Edios Montreal is developing the multiplayer to make sure Crystal Dynamics focus on the single-player experience.
Multiplayer will provide three modes: Team Deathmatch, Rescue, and Cry for Help. Rescue lets you play as either a survivor to collect medpacks and delivers them to a certain location or a scavenger to just rack up the kill count. Details were a little vague for Cry for Help but Eurogamer reports that ”the emphasis is on discovery and collection as opposed to combat.” Customizable loadouts and character roster will able available with an XP system to upgrade your player and weapons.
Tomb Raider will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on March 5th
