Sony brings it next flagship phone to CES and i must say, I’m impressed. The Xperia Z is a 5-inch 1080p display, 4G LTE and running a skinned version of Android 4.1. There are three features i like about this phone and that its water resistant, a 13-pixel rear-facing camera, and NFC. The Z can go deep to a depth of one meter underwater using plastic flaps to protect the ports on the phone. Using NFC can connect to Sony new portable bluetooth speakers and by tapping remotes to watch their phone to Sony brand new TVs via Miracast. The camera is also pretty cool with a 10fps brust mode (using only 9-megapixel though) and having “Video HDR”. Another feature on the phone is Battery Stamina which auto kills any background process and apps when the screen is in sleep which makes much better the Xperia Z having a 2330mAh battery.
Sony’s Xperia Z coming sometime around March or April. Carriers haven’t been determine but that will likely announced in the coming months.
