Lets go back in time.
In August 2012, Hideo Kojima showed a trailer and demo of his new game “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes” off its brand new FOX Engine and it looked pretty amazing. In December 2012 at the Spike Video Game Awards, a new game was announced from a development team call Moby Dick Studios called ‘The Phantom Pain’ and it caused a little stir around the media. Fast forward to now at GDC as Kojima reveals ‘Metal Gear Solid 5’ and the trailer (shown above) is starting to show scenes from both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain as near the end it shows the full title, ‘Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’. The open-world game main character is Snake and he’s been in a coma for nine years as a Phantom war has been waged by the Vanished and it ends with the quote “V has come to”. Not much else is known but in the trailer it is shown that it will be available for the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 and that the everything shown has been running from a PC.
